recipe: kanoka rum refresher

We're serving up our refreshing rum cocktail recipe filled with bright citrus and deep Kanoka Assam tea. This tea cocktail made it's debut paired with two styles of Adobo, at Hidden Apron's Salamat Dinner Party at The Green Table in NYC. Give it a try at your next dinner party, backyard hangout or date night! 

INGREDIENTS (Makes 1 cocktail) 

  • 1 shot of dark rum

  • 3 oz fresh squeezed orange juice

  • 3 oz Kanoka Assam tea (either brew and chill, or cold brewed)

  • Mint

  • Orange slices


  • We recommend cold brewing the tea 2-3 days before, for a nice, chilled, strong brew. If you are in more of a rush, brewing it hot & then letting it chill before adding it to the cocktail will work.

  • Mix together rum, orange juice and tea

  • Tear mint to release more flavors and muddle into the drink

  • Add orange slice and full mint spring on top to garnish

  • Serve and enjoy!
