Tea Origin: Satemwa Tea Estate, Thyolo Mountain, Malawi / Harvest: Spring 2018 / Elevation: ~3000 feet

Jasmine Origin: Organic Jasminum odoratissimum grown in China 

Why We Love It: We took one of our favorite everyday classic green teas and added organic whole flower jasmine to it for that sweet, sweet jasmine taste.  Most jasmine teas on the market are sprayed with "essence of jasmine," which can often include chemicals and oils that aren't great for consumption. This version gives us the flavor we're after in an all-natural and organic way.

The expert team at Satemwa harvests the tea leaves by hand, withers and then pan-roasted them, giving this green tea a bit of fermentation. This translates to a taste of chestnuts, roasted vegetables, and a classic fresh green finish. Adding in the jasmine gives a true floral boost. We love this tea brewed both hot and cold. 

Tastes Like: Chestnuts, grass, jasmine 

How We Brew It: Steep 4 grams in 8-16 ounces of 180º F water for 1-2 minutes. Can re-steep 2-3 times.
