wild white tea

Origin: Fuding, Fujian Province, China / Harvest: Spring 2016

Why We Love It: This white tea was produced using mature, shoumei grade leaves from wild old trees. The trees have been left to grow naturally in high elevation mountains, without any pruning or chemicals. We love the grounding feeling this tea gives us, and the complex flavors that have come out in the aging process. USDA Certified Organic.

Tastes Like: Sweet, mellow, full-mouth

How We Brew It: Steep 5 grams in 6-12 ounces of just boiling (212F) water for 3 minutes. Can re-steep 2-3 times. We also use 5 grams when brewing in a gaiwan.
