organic rooibos red tea

Origin: South Africa

Why We Love It: Red tea refers to different things around the world. In South Africa, red tea is rooibos, the rich and succulent non-caffeinated Aspalathus linearis bush. Grown in the high mountain peaks, this red tea is a deep hearty red color with a rich taste and warming aroma. The red version of rooibos has fermented leaves, turning them a reddish-brown color. It's sweet and reminds us of honey and roses. High in antioxidants, trace minerals, and nutrients - it's a great addition to a healthy herbal practice. This tea is USDA Certified Organic, Fair Trade Certified, and Kosher Certified.

What We Taste: Roses, sweetness, honey

How We Brew It: Steep 4 grams in 8 ounces of just boiling water (212F) water for 3-4 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the herbs and effects. Can re-steep 2 times.
